A lawsuit filed in 10th District Court challenges the right of a landlord to charge excessive late fees to their tenants.
Galveston resident Sharon Dusick, who lived in an apartment in the 1000 block of 12th Street, filed suit against her landlords, challenging the late fees and eviction policies of her lease.
She is represented by Stephen McIntyre of the Gulf Coast Legal Foundation.
