Another complaint has been filed with the Lubbock Independent School District alleging that workers employed by a sub-contractor which performed work at six Lubbock schools were paid less than established wage rates.
The complaint was made against Tech-Nique Painting, a company which had performed labor at Wright, Bowie, Haynes, Stewart, Wester, and Martin Elementary Schools.
It was the third such complaint made against different companies alleging that workers for the three firms were paid less than the established wage rate and overtime rate. All complaints were made by attorney Stephen McIntyre on behalf of anonymous workers.
The complaint against Tech-Nique specified two anonymous workers and alleged that other workers employed by the company were also paid less than the rates to which they were entitled.
